Company’s unique point of view drives the next wave of breakthroughs in work effectiveness and collaboration

Building on the success of this bold move, the company now launches a continuing set of breakthrough products that further define its work effectiveness and collaboration story. It does so through its walk up and use experience model, a concept central to PolyVision’s strategy.

“We had it right last year, with supporting existing work practices, providing a walk up and use experience, and FUMIFU, First Use Must Inspire Future Use” said Mike Dunn, PolyVision president and CEO. “First, the industry didn’t agree, now they can’t follow fast enough.”

At InfoComm 2004, the company introduced “One Click Publishing” to its CopyCamTM and ImpulseTM LTX line of products, allowing users to instantly capture and email work to their desktops, Blackberries or cellular phones. “Imagine sharing information around the globe with one click of a button (MicrosoftTM and Lotus TM compatible) to ensure transparency and acceptance by everyone, with nothing new to learn.” Dunn said. One Click Publishing will be available in fall 2004.

PolyVision also introduced its newest installment of Walk-and-Talk products that continue to break the code by providing plug-and-play technology and transparent mobility with an intuitive remote control. “Part of PolyVision’s success involves keeping products simple, effective, and extraordinary,” Dunn said. “Our work effectiveness story concentrates on providing users with interactive tools they’ll use, over and over again, unlike some technology purchases that seemed like a good idea at the time,” Dunn said.

The new Walk-and-TalkTM interactive products launched at the show, include:

·        Cordless Lectern: User studies said, “give us the flexibility to work the room.” PolyVision’s answer is the first fully mobile lectern, offering interactive LCD which incorporates its exclusive Walk-and-Talk plug-and-play features, and complete mobility made possible by a patent-pending battery system. There’s no need to core drill to bury cables. Convenience, flexibility and mobility are the hallmarks of this product.

·        Flat Screen Module: This innovative product allows users to maximize their new or existing LCD or plasma displays by combining the exceptional clarity and aesthetics of the flat screen with the functionality of an interactive display system – no overlays or over-sized bezels. But what really makes this product extraordinary is its ease-of-use. Walk-and-Talk technology is built right into a convenient stylus tray. This universal module easily mounts on most displays, providing instant plug-and-play with no new software to learn.

·        Cordless Adjustable Height Stand: Building on new functionality for its recently introduced Adjustable Height Stand, this product provides users with the ultimate solution for interactive whiteboard mobility with the addition of cordless capabilities. The Stand includes a battery pack that provides a full day of power.
